View Messages, Make Notes, Handle Spam, Respond

Left Pane Shows Mailboxes

All mailbox names are listed. Clicking on the mailbox name displays the mailbox contents in the right, top pane. After a mailbox name, the number of unread messages, a '/', and the total number of messages in the mailbox are shown.

By default, messages are organized by thread of dialogue. A thread is an email dialogue between you and your customer. Within a thread, messages are sorted ascending by Date. A reference number is assigned to each thread.

Click Sort Messages to sort messages by From, Date, Subject or Size. Click on the button over the column you wish to sort. The first click gives an ascending sort. The second click gives a descending sort.

Right, Bottom Pane Shows Contents of the Message You Select

You may create a set of Notes for each message thread. The notes are organized by reference number.

The Spam button moves the message to the INBOX.Spam mailbox. The statistical spam filter examines the message as an example of spam. This improves the filter's ability to recognize similar messages as spam.
